Hermetic Sealing with Ceramic to Metal Seals
PacAero ceramic to metal seals incorporating the patented Kryoflex polycrystalline ceramic, were created to replace conventional compression glass and metallized alumina ceramics for superior bonding properties. It is a unique material that relieves stress within itself and eliminates the most common causes of hermetic failure. PacAero Kryoflex hermetic seals system demonstrates superior electrical performance while withstanding mechanical and thermal stresses far beyond what glass to metal seals can endure. Kryoflex will directly seal into materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.

Glass-to-Metal Seals
When required for a specific application, or utilized when a less-expensive manufacturing alternative to our Kryoflex hermetic seal is necessary, PacAero can also seal glass directly into most any iron/nickel alloy. Our glass-to-metal sealing capabilities allow for matched sealing, compression sealing, and Hi-Rel (High Reliability) sealing using special oxidation and requiring higher processing temperatures, can be used, depending upon individual package requirements.
